2 divisions – 3.0/3.5 & 4.0/4.5
Mixed Doubles - Summer League
· Sunday league – 5pm
· Match format – 2 lines of doubles
· Maximum of 3 Men and 3 Women per team
· $15 for 8 week league, June 17th - August 19th
· Teams will be assigned after everyone signs up.
· Must be a BVTA Member to play.
Rules:
1. A captain will be assigned within each team and will be the designated contact between teams.
2. For each match played you will receive pts for all sets won. The team with the most sets won at the end of the season wins the league in their division.
3. Divisions are: Mixed doubles - 3.0/3.5 4.0/4.5
4. Home team will provide balls for the match.
5. Season will be approximately 8 weeks depending on how many teams there are.
6. Match consists of best out of 3 sets, regular scoring.
7. In the case that a team doesn’t have enough players for a match and they need to default a line, they can substitute a player(s) in as long as that player is the same level or below. That sub can but is not required to be on another team. The team that is subbing will get ½ their points for that line they are subbing for. So if you won 2 sets, you would get 1 point.
8. If a team cannot find a sub in time for the match, they must notify the other team of which line is defaulting prior to the match, if they don’t notify prior to the match and the other team shows up needlessly they will lose 2pts for each match defaulting from their total points.
9. Team prizes will be given for the winning teams in each division at the end of each season.
