Divisions
- 10 and Under - All levels Quick Start Format - Ages 5-10
- 12 and Under - Beginner(Quick Start Format)/Intermediate
- 14 and Under - Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced (champs and super champs)
- 18 and Under - Intermediate, Advanced (champs and super champs)
Team Information for 12, 14, and 18 YO divisions:
Teams consist of at least 3 boys and 3 girls on each team. They will play singles, doubles and mixed doubles.
You must play 3 matches to qualify for Sectionals.
Players in the 12s and the 14s and 18s Intermediate and Advanced teams have the chance to advance to Sectional Team Tennis Championships in New Braunfels, TX
Players in the 10 and under group will not advance to the championships, it is just a local team tennis league.
Team Information for 12 & Under Beginners and 10 & Under:
Those that sign up will be instructed on a smaller court with balls that don't bounce as high as regular tennis balls. The instructor will make it fun and competitive for the kids. Parents are invited to play along with their kids in this format. There will be point play and "matches". Other details will be passed along once everyone is signed up.
Cost:
12 & Under - 18 & Under - Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced
- $25 if you already have a current USTA membership. If you don't have a USTA membership you must go to USTA.com an obtain a junior membership which will cost $19. Once you have a USTA membership, please enter your USTA number on the entry form. You must have a USTA membership to play JTT.
10 and Under -
- $20 - You must obtain a USTA membership, and right now the memberships for 10 & Under kids is free through the USTA. Go to USTA.com, membership, junior under 19, and enter JOIN2PLAY under the promo code to recieve your free membership!
Team Matches
Matches will be held on the following Sundays @ 2 p.m.
- February 19 and 26
- March 4, 18, and 25
Matches for the 10 and Under and 12 and Under Beginners:
- March 4, 18, and 25
- April 1 and 8
You must play 3 matches to qualify for regionals.
You will have the opportunity to play 2 matches each Sunday. So if you are planning on being out of town some, that is ok just as long as you can play as many as possible!
There will be a regional playoff for Fall JTT. The winning team from our local league will be playing other regional teams from Waco. If we win the regional playoff, the State Championships will be in New Braunfels, TX at John Newcombe Tennis Ranch.

- Section Championships 14U and 18U Advanced, TBD
- Section Championships 12U Int, 14U Beg and Int, 18U Int -- May 19 - 20
Players who are on teams coached and/or organized by parents should indicate the team and coach on the entry form. Those players who do not have a team on which to play will be placed on teams by the JTT Coordinator. Teams will be formed by a committee that will meet and place players on teams with similar abilities, location, etc. If you want to be on a team with some of your friends please note that on the entry form.
The BVTA strongly encourages parent coaches, but where there are teams with no parent coaches, the BVTA will provide coaches from the Texas A&M Tennis Club.
